Focus Fridays: Flogging

Part 2 of our Focus Friday workshops with host and co-owner, Mr. McCoy. The focus of this class will be flogging with technical demonstration and participation. All skill levels are welcome to attend and partners are not required!

  • Light snacks and drinks provided.

  • Floggers will be lent out during practice, but feel free to bring your own!

  • Doors close at 7:15 for orientation before the class begins.

Materials: Participants are encouraged to bring drinks, snacks, personal impact toys, a blanket, and any aftercare items they might need.

$40 for registered members, $50 for non-members.

Spooky season at Incognito SD features our first annual Play Party, Sleepy Hollow: Wide Awake. This is a swinger forward party with BDSM features and spaces. 

  • Designated dungeon access included.

  • Light snacks and non-alcoholic refreshments provided.

$150 for couples, $100 for single males, and $75 for single females. 

Open to both members and non-members but all attendees must apply for vetting to be eligible to purchase tickets.

Focus Fridays Syllabi & Class Overview

Focus Fridays classes will all include the following instructional content:

  • Warm-Up Techniques: Importance of warming up the bottom.

  • Body Language: Signs to look for during play and how to ensure safety.

  • Aftercare Techniques: Discussing aftercare and negotiating it beforehand.

  • Class specific content as listed below.

Each class will then conclude with the following:

  • Partner Practice: The hands on portion where students break into pairs or groups for practice. Solo participants will have alternatives.

  • Instructor Guidance: your instructor will roam around to offer real-time feedback.

Class 1: Impact 101

Overview: This class introduces participants to the fundamentals of impact play, covering techniques, safety, and aftercare.

Specific Content:

  • Understanding Impact: Difference between “stingy” and “thuddy” sensations.

  • How to administer both techniques.

  • Hands-On Techniques: How to spank or punch safely

  • Beginner Toys: Introduction to paddles and crops.

Class 2: Flogging Basics and Intermediate

Overview: This session delves deeper into flogging techniques, including both basic and intermediate skills.

Specific Content:

  • Understanding Impact (review)

  • Flogging Techniques: Demonstration and instructions on how to flog effectively.

  • Discussion of Florentine flogging (two-handed technique) based on experience level.

Class 3: Fire Wands

Overview: This class focuses on fire play safety and technique using wands aka torches.

Specific Content:

  • Fire Safety: Essential safety measures and preparations before fire play.

  • Product Safety: Discussion of what products and materials to use for fire wands and what NOT to use on your bottom.

  • Demonstration: Techniques on how fire acts and reacts to the body specifically with wands.

Class 4: Fire Bubbles

Overview: This session explores the exciting and safe use of fire bubbles in play.

Specific Content:

  • Fire Safety (review)

  • Product Safety: Discussion of what products and materials to use for fire bubbles and what NOT to use on your bottom.

  • Demonstration: Techniques on how fire acts and reacts to the body specifically with bubbles.
